| Behind the Scenes: Hose Testing |
Thu. Oct 29th 2009
Here's something that you might not know about the day to day operations of the Sergeantsville Volunteer Fire Company-- every fire department in the state of NJ, including the SVFC, is required to have all of there hose tested annually. These tests are to ensure that all of the hoses are safe and will not burst under pressure. Recently, a privately owned company came to the firehouse with their equipment and spent ten hours testing all of Sergeantsville's nearly 7,000 feet of hose. The SVFC would like to thank our supporters that make it possible to fund such mandatory testing.
